I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006 with a BA Hons in Three Dimensional Design specialising in jewellery. After this, I completed a Bachelor of Design course at the university to learn about setting up a creative business which I did as soon as I graduated.

Using the skills and experience I gained at university, I began designing a full range of precious metal jewellery originally inspired by organic texture and form. I use traditional jewellery making techniques to give each piece a personal and unique touch. As well as my range of work, I also produce one off pieces suitable for exhibition or commission based work.

Over the years, my collection has developed, increased and recently includes more 18ct gold to the silver, and semi precious beads in bright colours or pearls. I also now make wedding rings to order in a variety of styles and materials.

As well as starting up in business selling my own range of jewellery, I was lucky enough to land a part time job working for another jeweller in the Manchester Craft and design centre who I am so thankful for. I did this for the first three years of my business and it was a fantastic opportunity to continue learning about creative business as well as a time to improve my skills as a jeweller and acquire the knowledge I would need for my own career. I also joined the Manchester Jewellers network and took part in various exhibitions as a group.

I am now working in Darlington and plan to continue developing my work and collections. Concentrating on my business full time is an exciting opportunity and one that I intend to make the most of.

I have a list of stockists here on my website, and if you can make it to one of the fairs I exhibit in, I look forward to meeting you there, Elizabeth Chamberlain.
